Yesterday, Sunday, September 22, 2024, Kehsia asbl had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Come Together Community Festival, organized by Aracityradio in Luxembourg. Hosted at the Schluechthaus in Hollerich (5 Rue de L’Abattoir, L-1111), this vibrant event ran from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and was filled with joy, culture, and togetherness. With over 30 grassroots organizations involved, the festival offered a perfect platform for people from all walks of life to connect, celebrate, and unite in a shared mission of building a better future.
Kehsia asbl’s Contribution to the Day
At our Kehsia asbl booth, we organized several interactive activities for kids and adults alike. From creative workshops using recycled materials to hands-on demonstrations of sustainable practices, we aimed to educate and inspire everyone who stopped by. Thanks to the support of Centreformida, we were able to provide high-quality materials that made our workshops not only fun but also meaningful. Visitors left with a sense of accomplishment, having learned something new while contributing to the community’s positive energy.
In addition to our activities, we engaged with festival-goers in conversations about our mission and the work we do in Luxembourg. We were humbled by the interest shown in our organization and the number of people who expressed a desire to get involved in our future projects. Meeting new faces and reconnecting with familiar ones, we felt a renewed sense of purpose and excitement for what lies ahead.
